Having worked in the Evelina London Cleft Service based at St Thomas' Hospital, London from 2003 to 2024, I have specialist skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas of Speech and Language Therapy:
Within that service, I regularly provided training, supervision and advice sessions for Speech and Language Therapists working with our patients across the South East of England. I would love to continue this within my independent practice and am therefore able to offer one-off supervision sessions in the areas of cleft palate, active nasal fricatives, non cleft velopharyngeal dysfunction for speech and 22q11 deletion should you be looking for training, support, guidance and/or reassurance when working in these areas.
I am able to provide supervision sessions online via Zoom and in person if you are based in Hertfordshire. Please contact me for further information, as I am always keen to share my knowledge and experience of these clinical areas with others!
"I found Zoe approachable and professional, right from the start of the process where she made clear the options around the length of different supervision sessions and costs. We scheduled a convenient time to meet and Zoe was willing and able to look at session videos ahead of our meeting which meant all of our clinical supervision session time was used efficiently and effectively. I greatly appreciated Zoe's clinical expertise and sharing of potential next therapeutic steps to consider - it was a two way conversation which left me feeling more empowered and clearer on what to focus on next in therapy with my specific client. Zoe also followed up with diagrams and research papers after our supervision session. Thanks for your support Zoe - I greatly appreciated your time and effort to help me". October, 2025
"Zoe has a very kind and approachable manor and quickly put me at ease in our supervision session. She is so knowledgeable and really helped to guide my thinking with her questioning and observations. Zoe gave me practical advice and strategies that I could put into place straight away in my therapy. I would definitely recommend Zoe as a supervisor!" July, 2025
"I contacted Zoe for a one off supervision session to discuss a child with active nasal fricatives. Zoe actively listened to my clinical reasoning and what I had already done with the child and offered reassurance when I was feeling unsure about the steps I had taken. I found Zoe's supervision so useful, it gave me ideas for therapy and made me feel more confident in supporting this child and their family. Thank you so much!" June, 2024
"Zoe was so accommodating in terms of time to see me, and also when my Zoom did not connect! Her experience with children who have Active Nasal Fricatives was invaluable and she gave me such sound advice. Thank you Zoe!" June, 2024
