Hello! I’m Zoe and I’m a Speech and Language Therapist with over 20 years of experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of speech sound difficulties.

I can provide support, advice and assessment if you have any concerns about how clear your child’s speech is, as well as therapy where required. Your concerns could include any of the following: 

• Your child has to repeat themselves to be understood.
• Your child is becoming frustrated that people aren’t understanding them. 
• Your child’s speech sounds are made in a way that is noticeably different from their peers.
• Your child‘s speech rate is slow and speech sound production feels effortful for them. 
• You feel that your child’s speech has a nasal quality to it.
• Your child's speech clarity is affected by a speech sound difficulty related to a diagnosis of cleft palate or velopharyngeal dysfunction for speech.
• Your child has been diagnosed with an active nasal fricative pattern in their speech sound system. 

I am based in Hertfordshire and can provide face to face appointments within this county and in some parts of neighbouring counties too. I'm able to provide face to face appointments in homes, nurseries and schools.

For familes that are able to travel by car to access my support, I have a clinic room at my home near Welwyn, with easy parking available.  

I also have access to a clinic room in St Albans, which is a 10 minute walk from the main train station (itself only a 20 minute journey from London St Pancras).   

I can also provide Zoom online appointments where appropriate.
